In 2007, Global Media Strategies began offering services derived from best practices in helping domestic and global life sciences and technology companies secure a foothold throughout the U.S., in addition to guiding domestic businesses in their quest to garner market share in Europe, Asia and elsewhere.
The principal stakeholder in Global Media Strategies is David D. Menzies, the company president. Mr. Menzies has enjoyed great success throughout his 22 years of award-winning professional experience in delivering specific messages to target audiences.
An experienced marketing and PR professional and journalist, Menzies is active in the tech community in the heart of the Research Triangle Park region, and is involved in the Online News Association and Society of Professional Journalists. He is well-connected in the life sciences and technology news media, with access to a reliable network of experienced professional communicators and vendors. His background includes successful work as a newspaper editor and reporter; online journalist; communications manager for a leading international educational institution’s technology endeavors; Federal and nonprofit public relations positions; PR agency experience; and a role as creative director for an online marketing company.
